Mayor Art Risavy with the City of Edwardsville announced a partnership last week with Lucky 13 Hoops to bring a basketball and volleyball field house to the Plummer Family Sports Park. The sports park is located just south of the new 95-acre Park North development at the I-55 and IL Highway 143\/Governor’s Parkway Interchange.<\/p>\n
The City, in partnership with Lucky 13 Hoops owner and Edwardsville native Mark Thomas, announced the facility will be 45,000 sq ft and feature five high school regulation-size basketball courts that can be converted into eight to 10 volleyball courts for games, tournaments, open play and training camps.<\/p>\n
