Economic Development Summit Announced!

Madison County Illinois officials have announced a major upcoming economic development event planned for April 6 and 7, 2017. According to the Illinois Business Journal in its February 2017 edition, the event is being called the M.I.C. Summit. The acronym stands for Model Innovative County and the event is aimed at bringing together local leaders, businessmen, government officials and others for in depth discussions on how to move Madison County and the SW IL area forward through economic, community and workforce development. Kristen Poshard, Chief Deputy Director of Madison County Community Development, is spearheading the event, which will be hosted at Lewis and Clark Community College’s historic N.O.
